50 Shades of Grey movie cast rumors continue to spread across the Internet like wildfire [sorry, just watched the last Game of Thrones episode]. A-listers like Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, Emilia Clarke and Emma Watson have been at the top of the pile as possible Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele cast candidates.

After director Gus Van Sant recently shot a test reel [steamy sex scene, where Grey takes Ana's virginity], vying for his own spot on the 50 Shades of Grey project, a few new names are cropping up as possible cast members. Van Sant chose Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer to play Christian Grey in his test scene. Though Universal Studios has yet to confirm Van Sant or Pettyfer [or anything else, for that matter] recent rumors indicating Jennifer Lawrence as Anastasia Steele are now floating around the Web.

Unfortunately, like most 50 Shades of Grey movie buzz, these are just rumors, and the Hunger Games star probably won't play Anastasia Steele. It's a never-ending cycle of hopeful speculation.

As someone who's been reporting on 50 Shades gossip for quite some time, there does seem to be something to the Ian Somerhalder and Emilia Clarke pairing. Regardless of new cast candidates like J-Law popping up out of nowhere, the conversation always finds its way back to Somerhalder [Vampire Diaries] and Clarke [Game of Thrones]. Emilia Clarke even has her own fan-dedicated Facebook page, petitioning 50 Shades of Grey author, E.L. James to cast her in the upcoming movie adaptation.

So who will it be James? You know who the fans want to see in 50 Shades the movie, now it's time for you to decide...and for the actors to agree I suppose.
