300: Rise of an Empire Trailer on IMDB: Cast Revealed on Movie's New Wiki Page [Trailer]
A new Wiki page popped up recently for the trailer for the film "300: Rise of an Empire." The movie is due out in 2014 and will be based on the popular action film "300" from the mind of Zack Snyder.
The trailer, which was released on IMDB, features Lena Headey's Queen Gorgo character narrating, "The oracle's words stand as a warning. Sparta will fall. All of Greece will fall. And only stout, wooden ship can save them. Wooden ships and a tidal wave of heroes' blood."
The movie focuses more on Xerxes' role in history that the original "300" film. Rodrigo Santoro, who plays the 9-foot tall villain, takes about his character. He says, "I think that he had his reasons to do what he was doing. He was trying to do what his father was doing. His father was killed. You're going to get to see in this movie where he's coming from."
There was much controversy over the original "300" film, mainly from the Iranian Academy of Arts who filed a formal complaint with the United Nations over the portrayal of Iranian history in the movie.
The trailer is action packed and features a massive amount of CGI that viewers have come to expect from Zack Snyder films.
