2ne1 exploded in U.S. markets in 2009 as part of the unofficial K-Pop invasion. Hits like "Fire", "I Don't Care" blew up the club scene and earned the girl group their first world tour in 2012. Their 2012 single, "I Love You" went to number 1 on the K-Pop Hot 100 list.

After a yearlong hiatus 2ne1 is back better than ever with the first single off their upcoming studio release "Falling In Love". To ensure mega sales for the new album, 2ne1 will be releasing a new single every month until the October release date.

As much success as CL, Dara, Minzy and Park Bom have had over a short period of time, working with high-profile producers such as will.i.am and Teddy, the group isn't resting on their laurels and plans to bring just as much energy the second time around.

"We are extremely excited as this is our first single in a long time," says 2ne1 leader and "baddest female" CL. "It is actually our first official album release in two years. We really wanted to be onstage together so I think it's going to be fun. All the great energy we received during our world tour is reflected on our new album."

The first single "Falling In Love" is already a top contender for "song of the summer." It may not be the group's best song, but the reggae vibe will definitely take you to sandy beaches and warm water.
