Stars from the Fox hit drama series 24: Live Another Day recently revealed what fans can expect when the series finale episode broadcasts tonight.

Longtime 24 actress Mary Lynn Rajskub has played the role of Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) ally and tech expert Chloe O'Brian since her debut in the third season in 2003. When revealed, she made the following statement regarding the last episode.

"I don't want to give anything away," said Rajskub to The Mirror, "All I'll say is that the world does not get destroyed!"

Yvonne Jaqueline Strzechowski (CIA Agent Kate Morgan) also commented on tonight's episode in a recent interview, "It's obviously going to be action-packed... There's some twist and turns that people are not expecting. Perhaps not everyone makes it out alive. It's going to be quite the fireworky episode," said Strzechowski to Fox 2 News in St. Louis.

Strzechowski also answered whether or not 24 will return for a tenth season in the same interview.

"You never know. It's always up to the producers to make that call and Kiefer, obviously. So, never say never. Maybe that's going to be the next title for the next 12 episodes, 'Never Say Never.'"

In addition, series Executive Producer Howard Gordon hinted in another interview that a potential tenth season may happen with or without Sutherland, with possibly Strzechowski's character taking the lead role in the popular espionage series.

"The format itself is very sturdy and with the right story it can be compelling. So if a (Jack Bauer-free) story presented itself to us, we would be open to it," said Gordon to TVLine.

"In the highly anticipated season finale, the clock ticks toward the final seconds of Jack Bauer's most heroic day. As the world teeters on a terror plot of mass proportions, Jack and the team reunite one last time to avert an imminent international crisis. With little time left and the fate of the free world on the line, Jack is faced with an unthinkable and grave decision. Lives will be lost and the American administration will grapple with the day's most devastating news as the clock stops in the all-new "Day 9: 10:00 PM - 11:00 AM" event series finale," according to official outline to the final episode.

In tonight's episode Bauer will battle his former nemesis (Cheng Zhi), a man who was believed to have died many years ago in Season [Day] 6.
