19 Kids & Counting: Jill Dugger Married to Derick Dillard: 1,000 Guests in Entourage

19 Kids & Counting cast member Jill Dugger is now a married woman after her wedding ceremony on June 21 in Springdale, Arkansas. A total of one thousand relatives, close friends, and guests shared the meaningful milestone event. Three thousand root beer floats and 3,000 cupcakes were served at the reception making it the most publicized wedding of the year.

"I'm so grateful to all the volunteers who helped put everything together for the wedding," Michelle Duggar, Jill's mother, told PEOPLE,  "Everyone has worked hard and done an amazing job."

Mixing decoration with homage, the newly-weds displayed Michelle Dugger's gown from 1984, and the late Rick Dillard's police uniform. Derick's father died in 2008 and his mother is currently battling cancer, "We want to think about the importance of marriage and what it means to be married," the bride said.

Aboard a vintage pickup truck decorated with white and turquoise pompoms, Jill and Derick decided to wait for their honeymoon night before they seal their first kiss justifying that it was worth the wait.

Jill and Derick got engaged on March 29, 2013 and since then underwent conservative dating.  Jill emphasized, "We want to save the physical side of our relationship for our wedding day and not go further than we should. If you are kissing, it gets more intimate. Obviously, you can kiss and not have sex. It's about setting a higher standard so you don't struggle [with temptation]."
