Jill Duggar spent her first days as a new wife by giving her husband, Derick Dillard, a haircut. The 19 Kids & Counting star recently took to social media to share her moments as a wife. On Sunday, the 23-year-old posted a snapshot on Instagram of her about to give Dillard a haircut. In the shot, Duggar held a pair of hair clippers, while her husband wore a brown towel around his shoulders.

"Giving my man a haircut. #haircut #derickdillard #jilldillard #savemoneylivebetter," Duggard captioned the photo.

Two days later, the newlyweds went on a "cheap date" at IHOP, the restaurant was celebrating its 56th birthday on the same day.

"Celebrating IHOP's birthday with a short stack of pancakes for .56," the TLC star captioned the photo.

Duggar and Dillard, 25, tied the knot in Arkansas on June 21. The couple piqued the interest of many after keeping with the Duggars' courtship rules and abstained from kissing until after they were married.

The Duggars are devout Christians, "We're just really trying to keep our relationship focused not on the physical but really just more on communication and continuing to learn more about each other," Jill said, according to US magazine, "We're saving our first kiss and things beyond that for our wedding."

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in a house on the beach at Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina, and toured the Wright Brothers National Memorial.

"Every morning, we would wake up and go out and sit on the deck and listen to the waves," Jill told People magazine, "It was beautiful. It was very private without a lot of people there yet for the season. It was so relaxing."

The couple made the most of their vacation and spent an afternoon at Cape Hatteras Island, "It was really pretty there," Jill said, "It was wonderful. We were able to be away for almost a full week."
