19 Kids & Counting News: Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Enjoy Honeymoon in Kill Devil Hills

A month ago, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard proceeded with their engagement and got married at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas. People.com reports that the marriage was solemnized in the presence of over 1,000 guests on June 21.

It seems that the newly married couple is enjoying their time together and, according to the Duggar Family Blog, the arrangements for the special event were done after taking into consideration Jill and Derick's views. Lily and Ellie, who actually run the blog site, said the couple was very clear about what they wanted for their wedding.

Sierra, who helped in making the arrangements for the Duggar family wedding said, "I just love watching a bride and groom (who) know what they want and just needing to translate that to a wedding coordinator and then have the wedding coordinator execute it. They really were that awesome team that said, 'Here's what we want. Can we do it?' So we did."

An earlier report on the website said that the couple contributed their personal touches to the design. They put on view Grandma Duggar's wedding dress as well as the police uniform of Derick's late father.

E! News reports that owing to their shared faith in Christianty, the couple didn't hold hands until they were engaged. Moreover, Jill and Derick also saved their first kiss for after their wedding vows. The '19 Kids and Counting' star and her beau have officially sealed their promises with their very first kiss.

Later, Duggar told the People.com, "I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should - we want to have no regrets."

Meanwhile, Dillard said, "You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it. I am the most blessed man to have Jill."

It is reported that Jill and Derick enjoyed their honeymoon in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Following their first time alone together, the couple settled to domestic life and began some penny pinching practices.
