'19 Kids and Counting' Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard News: Baby Boy On the Way

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, stars of TLC reality series, '19 Kids and Counting', are expecting a baby boy in the spring of 2015, after the ultrasound result was officially released on October 20.

A picture of Duggar, 23, and Dillard, 26, showing an "It's a boy!" clipart was posted on their website.

Duggar had three of her siblings, Joy, 16, James, 13 and Jenny, 7, join her in the ultrascan room. Each of them had his and her own guess, but not the truth has been revealed.

While waiting for the announcement, the Dillards prepared a breakfast of waffles with syrup and whipped cream, fruit, chocolate milk and lemonade. Duggar said that the room became euphoric when the baby's gender was announced.

"Oh yes, there was some screaming in the room. I thought all along we were having a girl. Everyone made their guesses," exclaimed Duggar.

"I was really excited. As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special," said Dillard.

Duggar said that her baby was stretching out his legs full length and was trying to be like his Dad.

In their recent interview with Hollywood Life, Dillard and Duggar, who are now in their second trimester of pregnancy, shared how Jill's appetite has changed ever since she started carrying a baby in her womb.

"Glad to be in the second trimester because we hear it's the best trimester," Dillard shared.

"You get to feel the baby move, find out the gender, and you feel better," said Duggar, "You're not super big pregnant yet, so, yeah, it's exciting!"

Dillard admitted that his wife has had a lot of cravings since the beginning of her pregnancy. He also joked that both of them are gaining weight, which some people find sweet and sympathetic, according to Hollywood Life.

Duggar explained that almost all her food during her first trimester consisted of everything cold, whether it was sour or sweet. Now that she is in her second trimester, she said she can eat almost anything.

The couple appears to be enjoying every moment of the pregnancy, and has even put up a gift registry open for "Baby Dilly," to help them acquire what they may need ahead of the baby which is due in March 2015. Their wish list includes a vintage floral crib bedding and everyday items like pacifiers and bibs.
