15-Year-Old Cassidy Stay Claims Angels Rescued From Family Massacre (VIDEOS)

Cassidy Stay, the 15-year-old teen who survived her family's massacre at the hand of her aunt's former husband Ronald Lee Haskell, recently talked about her horrific ordeal that killed her entire intermediate family.

"I know that my mom, dad, Bryan, Emily, Becca and Zach are in a much better place and that I'll be able to see them again one day," said Stay to the crowd at the memorial service (held at Lemm Elementary School) about her fallen family members on July 12 in Spring, Texas, "Thank you all for coming and for showing support for me and my family. Stay strong,"

On July 10, Haskell pretended to be a delivery man before he tied up and nearly murdered the entire family when he was looking for his ex-wife Melanie Kaye Haskell (who previously left him due to his domestic abuse towards her) inside Stay's home. The lone survivor (Cassidy) played dead after she suffered a head injury from a stray bullet in the horrific attack.

Her grandfather Roger Lyon recalled what his granddaughter told him in the hospital after she provided details about her terrible ordeal.

"[Angels] protect [God's] children in times of great need. After she had been shot on Wednesday, she said it felt as though the angels were there with her, putting their hands over her mouth - whispering to her to be quiet, 'I was quiet when I needed to be quiet,' she told us." said Lyon to KPRC-TV, "We have wondered whether those angels might have been her brothers and sisters."

Her grandfather Roger Lyon also revealed Cassidy's bravery saved multiple lives after she warned cops that Haskell planned on killing other members of her family at her grandparents' home, which led to the killer's shootout with police before his eventual arrest.

"We might be mourning the deaths of 20, yes I said 20, people today, including myself and nearly all of our children and grandchildren," said Lyon at the memorial service on Saturday.

Haskell was charged with capital murder on Friday in a court in Houston, which made the killer faint several times in the morning after hearing the verdict.

At the memorial service, Cassidy quoted Harry Potter's mentor Dumbledore at the memorial service that honored her late family over the weekend.

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times," said Cassidy, "If one remembers to turn on the light."
