'The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine' Release Date TBA, Update Patch 1.12 Coming Soon

Players are expecting one more expansion for "The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt" in order to bring the saga of Geralt to a close.

Despite the mention and teaser footage of the downloadable content (DLC) Blood and Wine expansion, it is now plainly obvious that "Wild Hunt" players have to be more patient.

They have to wait until next year to just catch a glimpse of the game contents through a comprehensive trailer.

On the other hand, according to some media commentators, fans may not have to wait for too long for an official trailer release.

It is likely that the "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" DLC will be released in the first quarter of next year. This means that the game developer should release the trailer much earlier.

The video game developer will release "Blood and Wine" and a patch for the game sometime in the first quarter of next year.

According to Community Manager Marcin Momot, patch 1.12 will be available in January 2016. This could mean just a day after the New Year or a few weeks thereafter. However, fans should not need to wait for too long before they can download the latest game patch.

As for the holiday season, fans can look forward to a contest called the "Holiday Outfit Mod Contest" Enthusiasts who are closely following The Witcher-series simply need to create a unique piece of clothing for a character of their choice with a festive or happy motif, which may or may not be related to the season.

The winner will receive a realistic replica of one of the swords in the game.
