Fans of the hit AMC network show The Walking Dead should be excited to learn that the show's Season 5 trailer might be available to watch within the next few weeks.

Walking_News, an unofficial The Walking Dead website posted a tweet, May 30, "#TheWalkingDead season 5 trailer will be released between July 23-27th."

AMC however, has not confirmed or denied this information, so fans should remain hoping for the best.

The conclusion about the release date for the trailer was derived by a comparison to the Season 4 filming and release schedule. Those dates seem to match up with the workings and developments of Season 5.

In 2013, filming for Season 4 began May 5-6, and just a few weeks ago, AMC posted that filming for Season 5 would again commence May 5, of this year.

Since the filming dates are identical between the two seasons, there should not be much disparity between the release of content associated with the show, examples being, trailers, production updates, casting, etc.

Despite the possibility of minor set backs in the production of the fifth season of The Walking Dead, fans should remain optimistic, new content is coming soon.
