'The Originals' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Klaus Sets For Revenge; Daughter Hope Is His Only Salvation?

Klaus is set to get his revenge for what happened to him in "The Originals" season 4, and Hope is his only salvation.

According to reports, the upcoming season will see Klaus wake up from his harrowing slumber as an unhappy vampire. Of all the members of his family, only his daughter Hope has the capacity to take away his desire for blood.

In the previous installment of the series, all the Mikaelsons were assumed to be eliminated. Klaus was left lying inside a coffin, where he was fated to spend an eternity filled with sorrow and pain. On the other hand, Elijah, Kol and Freya were all fortunate enough to have survived Marcel's bite due to Freya's powerful spell. The spell made it possible for them to tether their lives with the life of Klaus. As a result, the three siblings would live as long as Klaus lives.

According to executive producer Michael Narducci, "The Originals" season 4 will see mayhem.

"Season 4 is just packed with story potential. What you can definitely assume is that after a time cut, these sleeping giants are going awaken and they are not going to be happy. There's going to be a reunion of all these characters. As to what happens there, I'm going to leave it to the fans to think about and debate amongst themselves. We've got some great stuff planned," he told TV Guide.

Narducci said that the only person who can motivate him to be better and bring him back his sense of humanity is his daughter Hope.

"The Originals" season 4 returns next year on The CW.
