With episode 10, "The Night Shift" is just a few episodes away from its season 3 finale, and fans can't be any more excited to know how this fantastic ride will end.

Last week's episode left a cliffhanger when Topher revealed that the hospital was actually being bought. Fans were also left to wonder if Shannon would get herself together to lock down her relationship with Paul before he moves on.

In episode 10, Drew is pulling out all the stops to get Brianna a new set of lungs, and she's been pushed up on the list of donors. TC and Paul come across a young man who's dying and is a potential match for Brianna. Unfortunately, everyone's heart gets broken when it turns out that it's not a perfect match.

Meanwhile, Topher is doing his best to get the county to take control of the hospital instead of having it sold, so he could save everyone's job. Upon learning about the hospital takeover, Jessica helps Topher find some budget cuts, hoping that the county can save the day. Jessica also informs Topher that a headhunter is looking for him and that he should call him. Despite the possibility of having a higher paying job, Topher decides that he will not leave the team. However, Jessica reveals that the hospital has already been bought. It turns out that she's been hired by the buyer and knows that Topher is going to be the first person to get fired. When TC learns about Jessica's betrayal, he immediately decides to put an end to their relationship.

Kenny is growing more and more distant to Jocelyn, and it's sad that it's happening now that Jocelyn is already making an effort to spend more time with him. Jordan advises Kenny to just be honest with her about his feelings, but he's afraid that telling her the truth will only make work awkward for both of them. However, things spiral out of control when Jocelyn ends up initiating the split, telling Kenny that she and Ray have already gotten back together.

The highlight of the episode is the Scott and Jordan kiss, which seems to be a one-time thing. Their chemistry is so powerful and fans can expect them to think about each other more from that point on.

Viewers have yet to see if Brianna will get better and be adopted by Drew and Rick. Adopting Brianne is seen to help Drew balance out his life, considering how heavy his career is.
