'The 100' Season 4 Release Date, Spoilers, News: Newest Updates Hint Death of Main Character?

Fans can expect more blood and gore in the upcoming season of "The 100."

The season 4 premiere is fast-approaching and the people working behind the scenes are already dropping some interesting hints on what viewers can expect next season. Just recently, "The 100" costume designer Allisa Swanson posted on Twitter, "408 production meeting about to start. Hmm, who gets maimed, wounded or killed in this episode? #The100Season4," hinting that more blood will be shed in season 4.

Some fans speculate that Swanson was referring to the midseason finale episode, which could see the death of a major character. However, fans are confident that as long as Bellamy stays on board, all will be well. The character, played by Bob Marley, was able to redeem himself from his bad decisions in season 3, indirectly helping Pike kill Lincoln.

Following the death of Lincoln and Alexa, fans speculate that another murder or sacrifice will happen in "The 100" season 4. However the question of who will die and who will survive has yet to be known. Fans also wonder who will decide on who should continue living if there will still be survivors after the nuclear threat.

Aside from blood and gore, another thing to look forward to next season is how Clarke will make an effort to save her people. She has already done so much before, but she will do so much more in season 4, especially now that she has already earned the trust and respect of the elders.

"The 100" season 4 is expected to premiere in early 2017.
