While the Japanese can enjoy Tekken 7 through arcade centers, Bandai Namco has still put Tekken 7 under development for popular gaming consoles. The exact release dates have yet to be announced for PS4 and Xbox One while the PC format will be available within a later time this year. Bandai Namco confirmed that they are using the Unreal Engine 4 for amplified graphics during combat for this new sequel.

Just recently, popular game leak forumer Cyberland had just dropped hints of an August 2015 release for Tekken 7.

"My sources say that it can now be confirmed that Tekken 7 would be available on the console by August," according to Cyberland. We could also expect that the game may debut in the upcoming EVO 2015 tournament for arcade.

With the game still in the works, fans have been riled up with the newest addition to the Tekken world arena. Bandai Namco confirms that Jin Kazama, Devil Jin and the Filipina Eskrima fighting 'Josie Rizal' has been recently added to the line-up. The latter has received mixed reviews already but Harada was seeking to have a new female combatant to be included in his multi-cultural game.

'Josie Rizal' is a design created by Mad Catz's Mark "Markman" Julio and Mari Shimazaki of Bayonetta. The character had sparked political issues in Philippines with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts are investigating the inclusion of the Josie Rizal. They were majorly concerned that the character would be a misinterpretation of the Philippine's national hero, Jose Rizal.

With that, Harada released a statement regarding the purported objections on his Twitter account. A poster had suggested to have a name change but Harada had firmly replied, "No. If it happens, I'll delete her."
