'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Spoilers: 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Actor Pete Ploszek Joins Cast As Handsome New Teacher?

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star Pete Ploszek will play the role of a "charming, handsome young new teacher" in "Teen Wolf" season 6.

His character is named Mr. Garret Douglas and is described as the kind of teacher that "everyone has a crush on." Though his casting was confirmed in the upcoming season, it remains to be seen whether his character will be an ally or an adversary to the wolf pack. Some fans also consider the possibility that he will take on the role of Tyler Hoechlin as the wolf pack's mentor.

According to reports, Mr. Douglas will work in Beacon High and will capture the interest of students because of his charismatic looks. However, some fans do not want to fall into the trap of his charisma since teachers of Beacon High are known for their loathsome records.

In other news, Ross Butler and Gabrielle Elyse are joining the cast of season 6 as students. Though little is known about their roles in the upcoming season, some believe that introducing new characters is MTV's way of making up for the loss of one of its original cast members.

Actress Arden Cho previously confirmed that she would not reprise her role as Kira in season 6.

There are also rumors that Cody Christian will return next season as Theo, after being dragged down to hell in the final episode of season 5.

Meanwhile, showrunner Jeff Davis dismissed speculations that season 6 is delayed due to the injuries that actor Dylan O'Brien sustained while filming his new film. Davis said the production of "Teen Wolf" season 6 is right on schedule, although MTV has yet to announce its premiere date.
