'Ted 2' Release Date, New Trailer News: Universal Pictures Plans to Air Promo During Super Bowl

Moviegoers everywhere became excited as it has been confirmed that Universal Pictures has launched the trailer for the highly-anticipated film sequel, "Ted 2', on their official YouTube Channel.

The trailer was released just a day after the Studio released the poster of the movie, which shows the back of the teddy bear and a caption that reads, "Ted is coming, again."

The trailer begins with Ted marrying a woman in a church hall, and the pastor pronouncing the couple married as he says, "I now pronounce you Teddy Bear and Wife. You may now kiss the bear."

After that, it appears that Ted wants to become a father, and confides in his best friend John Bennett, played by Mark Wahlberg, for help. However, in order to have a baby, Ted is required to prove himself as human in front of the law. It's at this point that a lawyer steps in, played by Amanda Seyfried.

Seyfried is the lead, instead of Mila Kunis, like in the first movie. The movie also co-stars Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Dennis Haysbert, and Jessica Barth. Seth MacFarlane, the director of both the movies, will be giving voice-over for the character of Ted, yet again.

The first, "Ted', which released in the year 2012, made $549.4 million across the global box office, according to Box Office Mojo. Universal is planning to air a spot for the 'Ted 2' trailer during the Super Bowl, this weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is due to release on June 26, this year.
