'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers: Cast Leaks Important Details About The Next Series?

Updates about "Supergirl" season 2 have been few and far between, but just recently, some of its cast members spilled some important details about the upcoming series at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016.

Composed of Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Jeremy Jordan and Tyler Hoechlin, the "Supergirl" panel sat for an interview with Yahoo TV at the Comic-Con.

The "Supergirl" cast first shared their reactions upon learning about the renewal of the series.

Brooks, who plays Jimmy Olsen, said he "cried like a baby" when he learned that "Supergirl" season 2 was indeed happening. On the other hand, Leigh, who plays Kara's sister Alex, amused the fans as she re-enacted her reaction when she found out that the set will be moved to Vancouver, Canada.

The cast also stated that fans should anticipate the upcoming season as it is much better and "much focused" than the pilot season. They also noted that since the show just moved to a new network, its migration will let them create a show for "the real fans."

During the interview, Henchlin also shared about the challenges he has faced in playing the role of Superman. According to him, it will be hard for his character to figure out how he would fit in the world that was established by the first season of the show.

The cast also revealed that the production considers adding Music Meister, one of Batman's villains, to the cast of season 2. So far, the only confirmed addition to the season 2 cast is Chris Wood, though details about his role are still under wraps.

"Supergirl" season 2 premieres on October 8 on The CW.
