'Sherlock' Season 4 Premiere, Air Date: New Season Comes Back For January 2017 Release, Filming Started

Benedict Cumberbatch and his highly acclaimed series "Sherlock" will be back for Season 4. The production team is about to start filming as the release date is slated for January 2017 premiere.

Apart from the exciting news are some of the revelations from one of the production designers Arwel Wyn Jones, notes Christian Post. Jones posted the updates on her social media account, with set photos with captions that read "Look, stage 2! Or us it 1? I can never remember,"Hmmmm! Now the gold paper connects to the green paper... To the tone of 'hip bone connected to the thigh bone," and "Right, now anyone remember how this goes? 

Meanwhile, the website went on to write that the show's hiatus gave fans the chance to speculate what will happen in the next season. Some of the guesses involved Moriarty's possible return. 

Notably, Sherlock's greatest rival appeared on the third episode of Season 3. The appearance had a tagline that says "Miss me?" This created a buzz among avid fans that wants to witness another round of their showdown. However, showrunner Steven Moffat neither confirm nor deny the news, the fact the Moriarty already killed himself in the previous season "to discredit Sherlock."

In other news, "Sherlock Holmes" main star Benedict Cumberbatch is also busy in preparation for his lead role in Marvel's upcoming film "Doctor Strange." According to Movie Pilot, he will about to introduce magic and the supernatural in the much awaited film.
