Samsung Galaxy S7 Release Date Rumors, Specs: Coming Out On Feb. 21, Upcoming Phone’s Battery To Live More Than Two Days?

With its upcoming release in Barcelona, Samsung's Galaxy S7 is expected to have a boosted battery life, as per latest rumors.

According to Beacon Transcript, Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin claimed that he had managed to take hold of leaked images from Samsung, and one of the photos featured the battery capacity of the tech-giant's Galaxy S7.

Murtazin reportedly revealed that the new S7 device has the power to last more than two days, which competes with the battery life of Sony's Z series. This suggests that Samsung's Galaxy S7 will be able to play high quality videos for more than 17 hours, with the screen at 100 percent brightness level. As per the rumors, the device will be capable of staying for up to two days with the screen at 75 percent brightness.

As per the Russian blogger, Samsung's Galaxy S7 is set to have a 3000 mAh battery while its edge variant is going to be powered by a 3500 mAh battery.

According to N4BB, Samsung's Galaxy S7 is set to have no major difference from its predecessor, the Galaxy S6. As per the publication, it was revealed that the upcoming device will have a 5.1-inch 1440p display, in addition to Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 platform and 4GB of RAM. The device will also run Android OS v6.0.1 and will feature a 12MP BRITECELL camera.

As per the publication, Samsung's Galaxy S7 will carry the model number SM-G930 while the edge variant carries SM-935. Both handset devices will be released by Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

Samsung's Galaxy S7, as well as the Galaxy S7 Edge, are set to be released on Feb. 21.
