'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Release Date, News: Next Installment Focuses On Characters Other Than Sparrow & Turner

The fifth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" will not focus on Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner, reports say.

Since its first installment, "Pirates of the Caribbean" has been loved by fans because of the two characters. However, recent rumors claim that the franchise is currently looking to shift its focus from their storylines to give way to the other characters in the film.

According to reports, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will still feature Jack Sparrow and Will Turner but will try to shift its focus on the other characters. Disney's reason for the transition is reportedly because of Johnny Depp, who is already aging and may no longer be able to cope with the demands of the upcoming film.

Some reports also suggest that Disney is looking to focus on the young Brenton Thwaites, who is set to play a British soldier named Henry in the fifth installment of the film. If these reports are true, then fans can expect Johnny Depp to reprise his role as the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow for the fifth time.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is set to feature an all-star cast. Its plot will cover the old nemesis of Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Salazar, as he tries to escape from the Devil's triangle and seeks to kill the rest of the pirates. This means that it is high time for Captain Jack Sparrow to make the best use of his skills and wiles as he endeavors to unearth a legendary artifact.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" hits theaters on May 26, 2017.
