Boxing fans will have to wait a little longer before they can witness the anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather face off. Promoter Bob Arum says that though there is still no settled agreement, he believes that the fight between the two boxing legends will happen before 2016 ends.

In an interview with Reuters, Arum said, "I think that fight will eventually happen. We are certainly open to the fight happening and we are prepared to sit down with (the Mayweather team) at any time and work out terms."

"If you look at it from Mayweather's standpoint, he has this unbelievable deal with Showtime (satellite television network), paying him all this money ... so he would probably figure, 'I have three more fights under the Showtime contract'," Arum told Reuters in defense of his client.

Despite his busy schedule as a businessman, preacher, and politician, Filipino pride Pacman is ready for another fight in October. Arum told Associated Press that Pacquiao's upcoming fight may take place either in Macau or the Middle East, but other locations are still in the works.

United Arab Emirates royalty Prince Amir Shafipour, who is a boxing enthusiast, is confident that with his connections and knowledge of the business, he can bring Pacquiao and Mayweather together to fight in Dubai.

"I have a lot of worldwide connections, with managers, promoters, fighters, people in the business, who speak the same language that Mayweather and Pacquiao are speaking," Gulf News reported.
