'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date News: Square Enix’s Title Set To Arrive In April 2017

New details on the release date of Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" have surfaced and according to reports, the game is not set to land this year.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is set to be released in April 2017, according to Christian Times. As per the publication, the release date was confirmed at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016. As per the publication, several fans believe that the upcoming game title was already "overdue," as the development was revealed to have begun ten years ago.

Along with details on the game franchise's "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue," "Kingdom Hearts" director Tetsuya Nomura told Famitsu, as cited by KH13, that "Kingdom Hearts III might hit Japan slightly earlier that the other parts of the world; however. It would be nearly simultaneous when it came out.

Fans are set to see original game settings in "Kingdom Hearts 3." In his interview with Gamespot, "Kingdom Hearts" co-director Tau Yasue said that they were not adding any "Final Fantasy" worlds. He also mentioned that a lot of the original worlds had had "Final Fantasy" character in them.

Yasue also said they were not really coming up with any plans for that, as they were making original worlds and Disney worlds. In the same interview, he said that they best thing would be to have Disney worlds, which were recognized and famous and distinct and unique at the same time.

For the game director, they wanted the difference and variety and they did not want a lot of the same thing.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is assumed to be released in April, 2017.
