JK Rowling New Movie Release: New Harry Potter Screenplay Written by Rowling is an Extension of the Harry Potter World [VIDEO]

JK Rowling is at it again with a new screenplay that will be filmed as a new movie about the Harry Potter world. The new movie will focus on the Harry Potter textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and will follow the books author Newt Scamander on his adventure through the Harry Potter universe.

Rowling said in a statement about the new movie release, "The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt's story will start in New York, 70 years before Harry's gets underway." Newt first appeared in the Harry Potter series in the first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Rowling's screenplay, which will later be filmed as a Warner Brothers movie, will follow Newt as he writes and researches Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Newt travels to far reaches of the globe to find these fascinating creatures.

Rowling will certainly include a variety of Harry Potter references in her new movie, so this will be a series that you won't want to miss!
