The release date for the Huawei P9 is set on April 5 or 6, according to the latest rumors which also claimed that the device will feature a 6 GB of RAM for the premium version.

As to the price, Android Pit referred to the Chinese site, MyDrivers, which alleged that the entry level for the Huawei P9 will cost $499 and the Pro $599, while the Max will cost $699.

Sometimes, it's quite difficult to tell all the Huawei phones apart and the P9 seems to be no exception, although it seems like the device has a metal shell for its very thin frame. Based on the leaked images from Venture Beat, the back looks very ordinary.

The website also revealed the rumored specs for the Huawei P9 which is said to be powered by a Kirin 950 octa-core processor, which runs at 1.8GHz and 2.53 GHz. The built-in storage is reported to be 32GB although high-end version may feature as much as 128 GB of storage.

What sets the Huawei P9, however, is the battery which 3900mAh, which is a monster considering the slim frame of the device.

"The camera is potentially one of the Huawei P9's most exciting features, as it looks like it will have a dual-camera on the back," 3G website noted. "This is likely to work the same way as it does on the Honor 6, allowing you to refocus shots after you've taken."

For now, however, the release date, specs and price of the Huawei P9 are still rumors without the official confirmation from the phone manufacturer.
