'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Episode 10 Spoilers, Preview: Who Set Annalise Keating's House On Fire?

The midseason finale of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 revealed that it wasn't Annalise Keating's ex-boyfriend Nate Lahey or Frank Delfino who was under the sheet, but Wes Gibbins.

While some fans expected either Nate or Frank, it turned out to be Wes Gibbins. It can be recalled that in the previous episode, an explosion had already rocked Annalise's house even before firefighters arrived at the scene. Many were surprised to see only Nate and Laurel entering the house and not Wes. Mysteriously, Nate told Annalise that Wes had actually died before her house was set on fire.

As of this writing, there are three mysteries that remain unsolved in the series. First is what happened to Wes when he left the police station. The second is the culprit behind setting Annalise's house on fire. Apparently, there was no fire yet when Nate entered the house. The last mystery is the identity of the father of Laurel's unborn child. Some speculate it is Wes, considering that there was never a time that Frank had spent a night with her in her apartment.

ABC has yet to release the trailer for episode 10, but fans can expect it to be packed with surprising revelations.

According to executive producer and creator Peter Nowalk, "In the first episode back, we'll see what happened to Wes after he left the police station. We won't get all the answers, but slowly, we'll be pulling back the curtain. We'd been doing flash-forwards, and now we'll be doing flashbacks. And by the end of the season, if not earlier, we'll find out what actually happened to him and who killed him."

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 returns Jan. 19, 10:00 p.m. on ABC.
