House of Cards Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers: Zoe Barnes to Make Comeback? Netflix Premiere Date Delay News Latest [VIDEO]

House of Cards, the hit Netflix political drama-based series, is scheduled to release its third season early in 2015 despite an ongoing tax feud with the state of Maryland, according to new reports.

Creator Beau Willimon has reported that the team is almost done with the final scripts and that a few episodes can begin filming already.

Over recent months, a disagreement on tax incentives has threatened to delay production, with rumors claiming that the Season 3 release date would have to be moved back until June 2014.

Producers behind the Netflix show have said that large productions such as House of Cards should be entitled to at least $11 to $15 million in tax refunds from the state, but Maryland currently implements a tax ceiling of $7.5 million, leaving the show far short of where they feel they should be financially.

MRC Senior Vice President Charlie Goldstein has make his concerns well known that there may have to be major changes with the production and an affect on the release date if the tax matter is not settled amicably.

"In the event sufficient incentives do not become available, we will have to break down our stage, sets and offices and set up in another state," he previously stated.

Willimon also told the press that he cannot divulge any information about specific scenes on the upcoming season of the Netflix original, but he expressed that he misses Zoe barnes as much as the fans do.

"Kate Mara is an extraordinary actress. The work she did on House of Cards is a big part of its success."

There have also been rumors swirling that Kate Mara's character would be back in Season 3 as a ghost. However, whether there is any substance to those rumors is not yet known.

Fans are also speculating whether or not there will a Season 4 in the works. There is still no final answer but Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos seemed to give a very positive indication that fans can expect a fourth season to be spun out. He has said, "Our intent is that the show keeps going for sure. It was a 26-episode commitment. It was not our intent that it just run for two seasons."
