'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Spoilers: Danny and McGarrett Get A Stronger Bond?

Following the events that transpired in the season 6 finale, fans can expect to see a stronger bond between Danny and McGarrett in "Hawaii Five-0" season 7.

Showrunner Peter M. Lenkov teased recently that after Danny's decision to donate his liver to McGarrett, the connection of the two best buddies will only get stronger in the next installment. However, he revealed that things will not always be smooth-sailing for the duo as a newfound connection will turn out to be a bone of contention between them.

"It brings Danny and McGarrett even closer together and it gives them another thing to be arguing about next year," said Lenkov.

"I love the idea that McGarrett is going to abuse that organ, because McGarrett is a person who abuses himself and puts his life in danger all the time," he added.

The showrunner also revealed that Danny is going to regret saving his life because of that.

"These guys are blood brothers, but now literally they are," he said.

The final episode of season 6 titled "My Desire is Only For the Chief" offered a sneak peek of what is in store for the two characters as the two leads were shown bickering about some things. The season finale also featured some dramatic moments and funny exchanges between the two.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 7 will feature a team-up between Danny and McGarrett that is going to be unique from other police duos. Lenkov also revealed that there will be some changes in McGarrett's perception of the world.

The 7th installment of the series is expected to premiere on CBS this fall.
