'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Episode 11 Recap, Spoilers: Chin Risks Life To Rescue Niece Sara From Captors

The "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 midseason finale will air later this week, and spoilers suggest that fans might have to brace up for an intense episode that will conclude with a major cliffhanger.

According to showrunner Peter Lenkov, season 7 will end with a pretty huge cliffhanger, leading to speculations that the upcoming episode might see the death of a major character.

Titled "Ka'ili Aku" which means "snatch back," "Hawaii Five-0" season 7, episode 11 features plenty of action and drama especially for Daniel Dae Kim's character, Chin. Based on the synopsis for the episode, his niece, Sara, will be taken by some unidentified captors.

Chin has always been a father to Sara, so it won't come as a surprise if he does everything in his power to rescue her from her captors. Because of this premise, some fans speculate that his life might be in grave danger in the upcoming episode. There are also speculations that Chin might suffer the same fate as Steve McGarrett in the finale of the previous season, who narrowly escaped death.

As for, Lenkov's revelation that the finale of the current season would leave fans hanging, the showrunner admitted that if they pull it off successfully, then this would be their first attempt at concluding a season on a cliffhanger.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 will be cancelled if Alex O'Loughlin exits the show. In his previous interviews, the actor revealed that he had been mulling over saying goodbye to the series for good. To debunk rumors, Lenkov said in a recent interview that the series would continue even without O'Loughlin.
