'Final Fantasy XV' Latest News: Square Enix May Reveal Update at Gamescom

If latest reports are to be believed, Japanese video game developer and publisher Square Enix is preparing for something big for its upcoming action role playing video game 'Final Fantasy XV' at the 2015 Gamescom.

According to Christian Today, earlier in the year, Square Enix clearly left revealing news regarding 'Final Fantasy XV' on their to-do list for Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but instead made an announcement regarding the 'Final Fantasy VII' remake. Now, it seems as if the company is compensating for it.

In fact, Square Enix has announced that it plans to hold a number of stage presentations at Gamescom for 'Final Fantasy XV.' Gamespot reports that the company has further said that they would be inviting some familiar personalities to the event with a view to help present the game to the fans. At the same time, they will also help to provide their individual unique takes on the upcoming title.

Apart from their plans to reveal addition details regarding 'Final Fantasy XV' at Gamescom, Square Enix has also announced that the company will be offering a playable demo of 'Final Fantasy Episode Duscae 2.0' at the event. The playable preview of the title that will be made at available at Gamescom will be the 'Episode Duscae' demo second part that is likely to include a number of of the suggestions made by fans after having played the first part.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot reported that Square Enix may be contemplating to utilize the Gamescom stage to finally reveal the official release date for 'Final Fantasy XV.'

In addition to the above mentioned titles, Square Enix will be featuring titles like 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' and the upcoming 'Hitman' at the upcoming Gamescom event.
