Fast and Furious 7 Movie Cast News: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Addresses Paul Walker’s Death

Former WWE Champion Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson recently addressed the passing of his Fast and Furious 7 co-star Paul Walker in a new interview.

"He was a beautiful man, and in that crazy world, that's really something," said Johnson to The Hollywood Reporter in reference to Walker.

The 42-year-old actor and professional wrestler also revealed how he learned of the tragic car crash that claimed the life of his co-star on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the age of 40.

"I was driving with (my girlfriend) Lauren when she immediately turned very quiet and was looking at me, studying, wondering if I knew," said Johnson, "I pulled over and looked at my messages and had a moment where I just caught my breath. We said a prayer right then to give his daughter strength- because we had talked about our daughters."

Johnson also talked about how both men's similar life experiences created a strong bond between them when they became co-stars on the sets of the Fast 5 (2011) and Fast & Fast & Furious 6 (2013) films just prior to their upcoming Fast and Furious 7 movie.

"That's what we would talk about. Both of us were divorced, and we talked about the power of being a dad and the strong connection of a dad and his girl. Then once we got home, we started bawling," said Johnson.

In addition, Johnson will also star as Hercules (the son of the mythological Greek God Zeus) in the upcoming Hercules film, when it arrives in theaters on July 25, 2014.

The Fast and the Furious 7 film which has an all-star cast including the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell and Romeo Santos will appear in movie theaters on April 10th 2015.
