Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition Update, Rumors: Reaper of Souls Expansion Release Date Soon; Crusader Added to Playable Classes
Diablo III first came onto the scene in the fall of 2013. Since then there has been a clamor for an expanded version of the game, not to mention, as the next gen consoles of Playstation and Xbox came out, a high demand for the title to be rereleased on the more advanced game consoles.
Now it seems like both dreams are coming true, as the expansion pack for the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as P.C., is set to be released to gamers in just a few days.
Diablo III came into the market boasting the title of fastest selling P.C. game of all time. That was a year ago, and die-hard fans are hungry for more content to explore. After having conquered the original four acts of the third Diablo, players now have the opportunity of engaging their characters in the trials of Act V.
This time, their foe will be a throw-back to Diablo II, the fallen Archangel Malthael. It will also offer new abilities and a new class. The Reaper of Souls x-pac trailer can be seen below.
The new class of Crusader will likewise be featured in the expansion pack and updated edition for the PS4 and Xbox One. This version will take full advantage of the advanced processing and online capabilities of the recently released system.
With the release of the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Expansion Pack, Blizzard, the game developers, will have the opportunity to put their full attention on the continued endeavor to bring the Ultimate Evil Edition to completion.
Though there is as of yet no release date, fans are hoping that the title will drop sometime in 2014.
