‘Attack on Titan’ Season 2 Release Date: May Launch New Installment August 2015

Recent reports are claiming that Wit Studios will not be releasing an 'Attack on Titan' Season 2 until the manga volumes 15 and 16 are launched first. Taking that into account, fans will proabably have to wait until August 2015, before next installment in the popular anime series releases.

Meanwhile, a prequel spin-off of 'Attack on Titan' - titled 'No Regrets, Birth of Levi', is scheduled for a December 2014 release.

As the title of the spin-off anime suggests, the story of this prequel will based on the journey of Levi's Survey Corps before Eren and Mikasa join him. As more details regarding the plot are being revealed, some fans are trying to comprehend the precise age of Levi Ackerman. In fact, there are several rumors that say he is 25 years old, while others speculate his age to be 35. Being that the anime and manga are extremely popular, it does not come as a surprise that a debate about his age erupted over Twitter.

However, the franchise's official Twitter account, @ShingekiKyojin, wrote, "There is a rumor that says Levi is 30 years old," adding, "I checked and Isayama sensei said Levi is older than 30, but would not go into details because it may be related to the yet untold story."

As far as the untold story of the 'Attack on Titan' is concerned, fans who have been following the developments closely may have noticed that Levi and Mikasa are likely to be related. In addition to their rather comparable physical qualities like black hair and advanced athleticism, both Levi and Mikasa have the word Ackerman as their last name. In fact, Levi's relationship with Mikasa can be ascertained depending on how old he actually is.

There are speculations that that Levi is Mikasa's uncle, or the brother of Mikasa's father, considering the fact that he must have got the Ackerman from his father's side.

According to another theory, Levi is Mikasa's father, although the evidence for this theory is very weak.
