'American Horror Story: Hotel' Spoilers: Ryan Murphy Talks 'AHS: Hotel' at Comic Con

Ryan Murphy, the co creator of 'American Horror Story', the FX hit event horror series, was a surprise guest at the show's Comic Con panel over the weekend.

During the panel, the writer revealed some long awaited details about the fifth season of the show.

The fifth season is titled 'American Horror Story: Hotel', and FX has not been saying much about what is in store for fans of the show, until now.

Murphy described the new season as the darkest and spookiest one so far. He also revealed that it will feature many of the most popular characters of American Horror Story taking the side of evil.

According to Murphy, everyone who was present on the panel, including Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, and Matt Bomer, will be "bad boys and girls this season".

As it has been shown by 'Freak Show' all seasons of 'American Horror Story' are linked, and Hotel plans to cement that idea even more with characters from past seasons of the show checking in to the 'Hotel'.

Although fan favorite, Jessica Lange, will not be in this season, Murphy did imply that she could come back in the future, probably in one or two years.

Murphy also revealed that Lady Gaga's part in the show was written specifically for her and that her character will be highly involved in fashion.

"When you work with someone like her, you sign up for something that is larger than life and I think that's what you want," said Murphy. "Part of her role involves fashion. You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way. The designers have been coming out of the woodwork with looks for her."
