Amanda Knox Murder Trial Latest News: Marriage to Musician Amid Court Decision

As the murder case of Amanda Knox continues to move forward, her recently announced wedding plans with long-time boyfriend and musician Colin Sutherland are now indefinite pending the decision of the court whether she is sentenced guilty or not in the murder trial of Meredith Kercher.

After being acquitted of her 28 years sentence, which was shortened to 4 years, Knox, was able to finish a degree in the University of Washington then became a reporter in Seattle.

Knox is currently settled in New York reportedly with her fiancé who followed her upon her release from imprisonment. During her 4-year imprisonment, it has been said that Sutherland made efforts to write letters to Knox while she was detained and rekindled their relationship.

The two are now scheduled to marry soon but reports say that the wedding may or may not happen depending on the decision of the court regarding her murder case in allegedly killing Kercher, a British student with then boyfriend Raffaelle Sollecito who was also acquitted of 28 years of imprisonment for lack of hard evidence to jail them longer.

A retrial has been set on March 25 and from there, the case of Knox would have to be updated so she could know when or how she can marry her fiancé. Knox previously shared that she would fight until the end. "I'm going to fight this to the very end," Knox had stated during an interview with Good Morning America.

The troubled Knox also previously expressed how hard it is to live life normally after being convicted then acquitted in the murder case of Kercher. "I am a marked person," she reportedly said. Adding that, her world is getting smaller. "I don't even know what my place is anymore. What's my role in society? Who am I after this? After everyone has branded me, who am I?" Knox said.
