Yankees vs Cubs Live Stream: How to Watch MLB Online (TV Start Time, Schedule)

The New York Yankees (7-6) will face off against the Chicago Cubs (4-8) tonight at Yankee Stadium in New York. The game will start at 7:05 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link.

The Bronx Bombers look to defend their home field when the Cubs make a rare visit to Yankee Stadium tonight. The Yankees defeated their American East division rival Red Sox Sunday night by the final score of 3-2. Yankees starter Ivan Nova (2-1) got his win against the Red Sox two days ago. Shawn Kelly got his third save of the season for the Yankees on Sunday night. Tonight's ace starter Masahiro Tanaka (1-0) looks to get the Bronx Bombers the victory when they face the Cubs tonight in the Bronx.

"I pride myself on not giving in after giving up runs," said Tanaka via his interpreter to reporters. "From the time when I was in Japan, I would always think that if I gave up a run, I would think to myself that I'm not going to give up any more runs. That's what I would always try to remind myself."

The Cubs were defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals by the final score of 6-4 on Sunday. The Cubs starter Edwin Jackson suffered the loss for Chicago two days ago. The Cubs are hoping their starter Jason Hammel (2-0) will out duel Yankees rookie starter Masahiro Tanaka when the two men oppose each other tonight.

"They're a perennial powerhouse and find a way to win, and the organization is committed to their players. That's how they do it," said Hammel to reporters. "That being said, there's still a way to beat them. I've faced them many times and had some success. You just have to keep the ball down there."
