'WWE 2K17' Roster News, Release Date: Upcoming Game Arriving In October?

The last time that we saw Goldberg in an WWE ring was in WrestleMania XX where he fought Brock Lesnar. WWE and as well as WCW fans misses the superstar in the ring and what EA is about to do would be something special.

According to the International Business Times UK, Goldberg will be part of the upcoming WWE 2k17 as a marquee pre-order bonus. The announcement happened on Monday Night Raw's May 30th episode. Prior to the announcement, there has been a series of cryptic twitter posts from WWE with a hashtag "Hatch" included on it. So it turns out that #Hatch means that Goldberg was being kept imprisoned in some secluded area. In the video, we see Goldberg getting escorted by officer from the Hatch.

Goldberg recently said on WWE's website that It was "just a really cool deal to be a character in WWE 2K17."

"Whether it's Nitro or Halloween Havoc, to have me as an available character, it's really cool. It's a tribute," Goldberg said.

Also, Goldberg told The Ringer Wrestling Podcast that his inclusion in WWE 2K17 would not mean that he'll be back in the ring.

"That's not my intention by any stretch of the imagination," Goldberg said. "I initially just want to put a smile on my son's face and show him what his daddy used to do, ripping guy's heads off. If it leads to something like that then I don't know, man. You never say never," he added.

WWE 2K17 comes out October 2016 for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.
