"The Voice" on NBC Season 3 winner, Cassadee Pope is officially beginning her career with the new release of her album hopefully being in shelves by this summer.
The ex-lead singer for Hey Monday, has been anxiously awaiting her new solo debut and going on tour with Rascal Flatts.
The former pop star has recently switched over to the Country music genre after her idol, Blake Shelton, worked close with her as she was on Team Blake on set of "The Voice" TV show.
With Cassadee already having fans from her former band, there is sure to be a great turn out for the future Country singer. Cassadees playlist for her upcoming album will feature many personal songs about her experiences throughout her life, along with songs that will relate to everyone with the typical day to day problems. "There are songs about someone cheating or being [cheated on]," she said. "These are things I've never gone through personally, but as an artist, I want people to relate."
One particular problem that Cassadees album will speak about is her ongoing absence with her father. During the TV show, Cassadee spoke about the struggle without her dad and decided to write a song expressing the heartache she faced with the relationship. She has recently reunited with her father after the show and speaks very fondly of the song that was written about their relationship. "It is one of my favorites," she admitted. "I'm sure it will strike a chord in his heart and make him a little teary eyed."Cassadee has just signed a contract with Republic of Nashville and has been hard at work on her new album. The new album still has no 'set and stone' release date, but she has kept fans in the loop with YouTube videos of her giving sneak peeks of the albums meaning.
Cassadee says on her video that their is no release date set, but she misses singing in front her fans and is excited to go on tour soon. The singer has also just announced the exciting news of her Summer tour with famed Country band, Rascall Flatts. Cassadee will be on tour opening for Rascal Flatts, as well as The Band Perry.
