An old Ragnar Lothbrok is back in Kategatt in "Vikings" season 4B.

The second part of "Vikings" season 4 will reveal the fate of Ragnar when he returns to Kategatt. When the series returns, the king is already an old man, fresh from the battle that took years to end. According to reports, he will train his son Ivar the Boneless to follow his footsteps and inherit his throne.

The premiere episode of season 4B will see a time jump. Ragnar's sons are already grown-up, and Ragnar is on his mission to win back the trust of his people.

Ragnar will reportedly train his son Ivar the Boneless as he believes that he is the rightful one to be the next king. In season 4B, he will mentor his son and get him prepared to be his successor.

Some reports also claim that the upcoming series will be bloodier than ever, as there will be a bloody battle for Ragnar's throne. Believing that the throne is rightfully hers, Lagertha will allegedly resort to bloody means in order to be in power.

Meanwhile, Astrid is rumored to be the new love interest of Lagertha. There are speculations that after all that she has gone through in life, Lagertha will choose a woman this time as her better half. It can be recalled that in the previous season, she left Ragnar upon knowing that Princess Aslaug was carrying Ragnar's child.

"Vikings" season 4 part 2 airs on November 30, 2016 on History.
