Usher New Song With Nicki Minaj and Pharrell: Review for 'She Came to Give It to You' [VIDEO]

The recent release of Usher's "She Came to Give It To You" featuring Nicki Minaj and Pharrel is said to have been inspired by the late Michael Jackson.

Usher premiered his new single recently on Chicago's WGCI 107.5's morning show and confirmed that the track will indeed appear on his, still untitled, eighth album.

Some say that the song's retro effects sync with the style of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," others say it's a song someone could really dance to.

Minaj was also noted to have given the song a fresh vibe, which is what tends to happen when collaborating with the female rapper. The lyrics in the track depict a girl who seems to be the center of attention at a club. The girl advises that party-goers should remain cool and collected, just lie back and enjoy the ride. Many find that the song is one that entices people to jump onto the floor and dance.

"She Came to Give It To You" is one of the songs to be released in Usher's upcoming new album which is reported to be his eight one. The song is produced by Pharrell, which is reflected in the song's disco groove, and features the vocals of Usher and Minaj.

It is a powerful follow up to Usher's recent single "Good Kisser" which will also be featured in his yet to be titled album. It has been reported that Usher's upcoming album is nearing its completion. The album will be released in September and the singer said it's "gonna be freaking out of here, man, space and sky, that's what it'll be. You look up, and it's everything you can imagine," he told Fader in a SXSW interview.
