UK pastor, author and Contemporary Gospel artist Sue Neil's radio single "More Than A Conqueror" is currently making rounds on Gospel radio in the U.S. according to a press release. "More Than A Conqueror" is a cut from the London-born singer's recent album Through The Fire, which is available at most digital retailers, including iTunes.
Neil is perhaps best known for her 2014 single "Shining" that spent a week on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart at No. 18, but it was not in Gospel music where she started her career.
Neil began her career in mainstream music recording, writing, performing and touring, singing lead and backing vocals with various producers, artists and bands. However, despite being able to use her talents, Neil felt a spiritual connection was a missing, especially since having been ministering as young girl with her family's Gospel band.
"I had been singing and playing keyboards with my siblings The Noel Family Gospel Band from the early age of seven years old," Sue shares. "I remember having a big voice for a little girl and I realized during school assemblies that I could sing and stay in tune when others around me couldn't. My first recording session as a backing vocalist happened at twelve years old. I wrote my first song five years later, and since then I've written over three hundred songs."
Apart from her music, Neil is also a pastor of twelve years and is currently pastoring New Generation of Christ Church in Northern London. She also recently finished writing her first Christian fiction novel, Journey To Salem and was awarded the 2018 Wise Women Award for Woman In Ministry, in recognition for her dedication to ministry.
