Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on the show, will direct the final season premiere of True Blood. Moyer recently starred alongside Carrie Underwood in "The Sound of Music Live" on NBC, a live telecast rendition of the popular 50s movie "The Sound of Music" which featured the Von Trapp family.

E! Online released a plot synopsis for True Blood season 7 episode 1, which read, "The premiere episode, which is titled 'Jesus Gonna Be Here,' will feature a super-adorable flashback to Sookie and Tara when they were just 10. Plus, we'll also get a Bill-centric flashback as we'll get to see more of his family in 1862, including his young daughter Sarah and his wife Caroline."

Some new cast members that will show up in the season 7 premiere are Ronnie, a vampire who will 'devour' humans, and Jerome, a vampire infected with the Hep-V virus.
