With the recent success of 'Transformers: Age of Extinction', rumor has it that for the next installment 'Transformers 5', Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox might be returning to reprise their roles.

Rumors sparked when Fox accepted a role in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' which is produced, by her alleged boyfriend Michael Bay, who's also the producer of the 'Transformers' franchise.

However, Fox has not many any final decisions yet, "I'm not sure if ill return. As long as things are good between everyone and Shia returns with me I'd like to see us partner up with the new cast like a crossover,' Fox said to the press.

LaBeouf on the other hand thinks that it is highly unlikely that he would return as Sam Witwicky, "It would be good to do another film, but I doubt with the new changes since the third film that Megan could return you know, it might be a love war if me or Rosie both return you know it's not that I don't think about it. But no, I highly doubt I'll be back for another one. I'll do another Michael Bay film but not Transformers," LaBeouf announced to press.

The rumored release date, according to reports, is sometime in the year 2016. As it stands now, many believe that the title of the upcoming installment will be "Transformers: Galvatron Rising."

According to Transformers Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura who recently talked with Screenrant, the filming and production team still has a long way to go, "We were struggling how to re-imagine or how to take that journey further, that particular one. And so, I always think it's interesting people ask, "How do you guys come to such and such a decision?" It's never one thing, it tends to be a cumulative conversation that drives the conversations. I think it was all those things," he said.
