Since 1995, when Newsong formed the Winter Jam Tour, the concert series has continued to be the most anticipated night of Christian music that features many of the nations top Christian artists and performers. In 2012, it was said that the Winter Jam tour out numbered all popular concert and performing art events of the season with the concert topping Cirque du Soleil - "Michael Jackson: The Immortal," Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, The Black Keys, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley's ticket sells. The Winter Jam Tour brings artists together for the chance of fans giving their life to Jesus or just simply praising God during this awesome night of worship. The Winter Jam Tour only costs a total of $10 at the door and remains one of the most affordable concert showings to this day. Eleven dates have been scheduled so far for this November, and the 2014 dates have been officially announced for the Winter Jam Tour. This year, fans should expect to see top artists such as: Newsboys, Crowder, Plumb, Thousand Foot Krutch, Tenth Avenue North and seven other Christian music artists performing during the tour. 

The 2013 Winter Jam Tour is also featuring a youth leader reception, where fans have the chance to come early to the show and participate in a small backstage reception. The intent of the reception is to provide suppport ,fellowship, and prayer for the young adults that continue to help make Winter Jam the best tour of the year. The reception is approximately 30-minutes before the start of the concert and all youth leaders and youth pastors are invited. Those who attend the youth reception will have the chance to meet the WJT artists, receive a gift bag from the reception, and learn about new youth ministry oppurtunities in their area.
