Biblical names have always been in style. Many moms and dads turn to the Bible to find names for their bundles of joy. See what names made the top 10 for 2013 . 

Here is a list of the top 5 boy and top 5 girl Bible names and where they ranked on BabyCenter.com for the year 2013.

BOYS

1. Noah - Story of the Flood in Genesis (5)

2. Ethan - The author of Psalm 89 (8)

3. Jacob -  Son of Isaac, later became Israel (9)

4. Benjamin - Son of Jacob, later a tribe of Israel (13)

5. Michael - One of God's chief archangels (14)

GIRLS

1. Abigail - One of David's wives (14)

2. Hannah - Mother of the Prophet Samuel (23)

3. Anna - A Prophetess in the temple (36)

4. Leah - One of Jacob's wives (42)

5. Sarah - The wife of Abraham, and mother of Isaac (43)

Some Biblical names are also longtime favorites such as Aaron, which has been in the Top 50 for two decades. Jared is also an Old Testament name that has been popular for decades--it was revived in the sixties.

People are also turning to the Bible to name their pets. In 2013 Rover.com reviewed its hundreds of thousands of registered users to come up with the top 100 dog names of the year. Among the names for people's fury friends were the Biblical names Luke, Chloe, Zeke, Phoebe, and Eli.Breathecast chose it's top Biblical names as Zion and Leah.
