'Tolkien and Lewis' Movie Tells Story of Christian Super Thinkers Behind 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Chronicles of Narnia'

Top Christian authors and thinkers, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien's friendship and lives will be the focus of a new movie on its way to the big screen.

The film, "Tolkien and Lewis," will be produced by Attractive Films which is situated in the UK, where the two happen to be from. The movie will be directed by Simon West.

The film studio is describing the movie to be "a drama fantasy set in war-torn Britain in 1941 revealing the faith, friendship, and rivalry between J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis."

According to InsideMovies, the budget is set for $18 million, and will also be coming out around the same time as another Tolkein project being worked on by FOX.

Tolkien was said to have brought Lewis back to Christ after he fell out of Christianity.

Lewis is known for his seven books in the Chronicles of Narnia books: The Magicians Nephew, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Horse and His Boy, Prince Caspian, the Dawn Treader, Silver Chair, and the Last Battle. He is also known for his great Christian works, Mere Christianity and the Screwtape Letters.

Tolkien is most known for Lord of the Rings series of books: The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.
