One of the rumored major storylines of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is that of Touka and her current troubles. In fact, there are speculations that season 3 will feature a Touka sporting a new white hairdo.

The premiere episode of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will open with Touka applying in Duke, Kamii and To-Oh as he prepares for college. However, there are speculations that her chances of being admitted to the schools are slim, not because she is extremely dumb but because the entrance exams in the said universities are quite difficult for a ghoul like her.

Based in the United States, Duke University is deemed to be a good university for Touka, but she will reportedly not be accepted in the school since ghouls are not welcome in the university.

Touka previously confessed that she does not want to study in Kamii, and that the only reason she wants to apply there is because of Kaneki. As for To-Oh, the essay part of the entrance exam is too difficult for her to pass.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that Touka's hair in season 3 will be white. The animation director of the series has yet to confirm this, but fans believe that Touka will exhibit more of her ghoulishness in the upcoming season, and one of the ways to do that is by turning her hair to white.

Reports about the upcoming season reveal that season 3 will be more psychologically disturbing than the first two seasons, so fans can expect some grisly scenes involving Touka that might be censored.

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is expected to arrive in the latter part of 2016.
