TobyMac Reveals New Album is 'Comin' Out in Early August' on Facebook [PICTURES]
Christian music legend TobyMac is in the studio trying to finish up his next album, and revealed that his release date for it is in August.
"Finished March tour....now a sprint to the hand-in date of a new project! Comin' out early August. Thanking God for creative generosity," TobyMac posted on social media.
The artist has been releasing little hints here and there about the new album, and one thing for certain is that it will feature his DC Talk buddies Kevin Max and Michael Tait.
"Sang with this guy in the studio today on his upcoming album- the song is beautiful & it turned out amazing- can't wait for you all to hear. #freaksforlife" Max wrote on Facebook.
Toby similarly posted a different shot of him and Max on his page with the caption, "Another special guest stopped by the studio to drop vocals on one of my songs #regram."
Prior to his post about the collaboration with Max, Toby posted a picture of him with Michael Tait in the studio as well. "Had a special guest in the studio today....shhhhhh. ?#"Žregram"
It is unclear as to whether Tait and Max will be featured on the same song with Toby, or if they will be contributing on different tracks, but nevertheless they are both on the upcoming album. Toby previously had the guys on his track "Atmosphere" off his second solo album Welcome to Diverse City.
TobyMac's newest single "Beyond Me" has a lyric video, and fans of the former DC Talk frontman have taken to the song's catchy chorus and light hearted sound.

The two other versions are the Phenomenon Remix and the Moodswing Remix. "So happy to get some new music out there. To God be the glory," he Tweeted.
Toby revealed the song from the Eye On It follow up the last few days of his Worship, Stories, & Songs Tour. The song was also released to radio during that time and did very well.
"Beyond Me" fits in style with Toby's last batch of songs, and is the first single for his upcoming album. "Have you heard 'Beyond Me' on the radio yet? Let us know!" he wrote on Facebook.
