Tim Tebow Inspired By 10-Year-Old Amputee Deven Jackson's Uplifting Story on 'Good Morning America' [VIDEOS]

Former NFL QB Tim Tebow revealed on social media how much he was inspired by Deven Jackson, a 10-year-old Pennsylvanian boy who currently plays football despite his prosthetic legs.

Devon lost his real legs two years ago as a result of meningitis.

"Deven Jackson is unstoppable and an inspiration! YOU motivate me, Deven. #MotivateMeMonday," wrote Tebow via Instagram on September 16 alongside a photo with of himself with Jackson sitting on a porch.

Jackson's mother Michelle talked about her son's reaction to playing the game he loves, football, despite his disability.

"It was truly awesome. Deven was smiling the whole time," said Michelle Jackson to Penn Live, "He went to bed with a smile on his face and woke up with a smile and he's still talking about it."

Jackson was featured on Tebow's debut on Good Morning America's newest segment titled 'Motivate Me Monday' this week.

"I'm excited about it because it's part of me and it's part of my heart," said Tebow on the ABC News' national morning show on Monday.

"It's something I've done for a long time and now to be able to do it with you and share these amazing stories about kids that have so much courage, and have overcome so many obstacles-and that's what's really inspiring-and it's awesome for me to be able to share these stories."

Tebow's new colleague Robin Roberts went on social media to voice her opinion on the ex-Denver Broncos and New York Jets QB's debut performance on her show.

"Wishing a warm @GMA welcome to @TimTebow. He's joining us live to kick off a brand new series: #MotivateMeMonday," tweeted Roberts on September 15.

The 27-year-old Christian former athlete has never been afraid to express how essential his faith in God is in every aspect of his life.

"It's pretty easy for me to say that the most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ, followed by my relationship with family. And football's later on down the line," said Tebow in a previous interview with GMA's Robin Roberts.

ABC News released the following statement regarding Tebow joining 'GMA' as a regular contributor to the long running news program.

"ESPN and SEC Network Analyst Tim Tebow is joining 'Good Morning America' as a contributor beginning Monday, September 15th," according to ABC News' recent press release regarding Tebow.

"The first-ever college sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy will help launch GMA's 'Motivate Me Monday' series, featuring individuals and their amazing stories of triumph. Tebow will appear in studio and live on location in towns across America with a wide-range of reports that motivate and inspire."
