Thousand Foot Krutch 'Untraveled Road' Free Download Available on iTunes Until Monday

Thousand Foot Krutch

Thousand Foot Krutch frontman Trevor McNevan thinks the 'untraveled road' sometimes "takes everything," but until next Monday, fans of the band can get smash single, "Untraveled Road" for free from iTunes.

On day one of the "FREE On iTunes" promotion, more than 32,000 copies of the song were downloaded. "Untraveled Road," climbed to No. 33 and this week on both Mediabase's Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts while hitting No. 11 at Christian Rock. The song is featured on TFK's No. 1 Billboard Hard Rock selling album, OXYGEN:INHALE.

"OXYGEN:INHALE nudges Thousand Foot Krutch's signature fusion of hard rock aggression and hip-hop flow a tad closer to the pop mainstream without compromising the group's core mission," an iTunes editorial review read. "Lead singer Trevor McNevan sounds reinvigorated here, coming across as both defiant and reflective...Bassist Joel Bruyere and drummer Steve Augustine combine solid command of the groove with a suppleness that keeps the songs light on their feet even as they pack a wallop."

In addition to radio airplay and hitting No. 2 on the iTunes Rock Song sales chart, TFK's "Untraveled Road" has also gathered millions of online streams and was featured this week on Spotify's Top 100 Rock Tracks.

McNevan said, "'Untraveled Road' is about standing up for what you believe in. It's about not being afraid to take the first step, or be the first voice. It's about having the courage to be unashamed, and the faith you need to take a step before you can see the ground."

OXYGEN:INHALE also features lead single, "Born This Way," and along with "Untraveled Road," the two adrenaline-fueled, "fists-in-the-air" anthems have been tapped to fire-up the faithful in sports highlight reels. "Untraveled Road" is being featured as the "pump-up" video for the Montreal Canadiens' 2014-15 season while the NHL's Ottawa Senators is using it as their 2014-15 anthem. "Born This Way" has similarly been featured on ESPN, NASCAR, Southeastern Conference (SEC) college football games, WWE and more, while picking up over 843,000 views on YouTube.

TFK will be featured with Hinder in Green Bay, WI March 14 and headline an Outlaws Saloon event in Columbus, GA April 17 before playing such major festival and park events as Wild Adventures Theme Park (4/18, Valdosta, GA), Northern Invasion (5/9, Somerset, WI), WRBR Festival (6/14, Southbend, IN), Rock Festival (6/27, Green River, WY), East To West Festival (7/3, Moncton, NB), Lifest (7/9, Oshkosh, WI), Hills Alive Festival (7/18, Rapid City, SD), Rock The Desert (8/6, Midland, TX), Heavenfest (8/7, Morrison, CO), Plumas Co.
